Morphology
Stroma: 

Stromata capitate, 65 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, white, one to many connected to the fruiting body of Elaphomyces truffle via rhizomorphs.    Fertile head, dark gray to brown, 6 mm in diameter.

 
Perithecia: 

Perithecia ovoid, regularly immersed, 770-800 x 350-430 um, ostioles conical and protruding,

Asci: 

Asci cylindrical, 400 x 4 um, with apical cap 6 um in diameter.

Ascospores: 

Disarticulating into partspores, which are 8-11 x 1.5-2 um and truncated on both sides.

Ecology
Host or Substrate: 

truffle genus Elaphomyces (Ascomycota)
