Khao Yai National Park, Nakorn Nayok Province, Thailand.
Morphology
Stroma: 

Stromata solitary, rarely up to 3, simple, (25-)40-90 mm in height, arising from Coleopteran larvae. Stipe simple, cylindrical, base reddish-brown.  Fertile area subterminal, cinnamon in color, with brown ostioles apparent, 5-15 x 1-1.8 mm.  Tip of stroma without perithecia.

Perithecia: 

 Perithecia immersed, ovate to pyriform, brown, 270-335 x 110-160.

Asci: 

 Asci hyaline, cylindrical, 280-295 x 6-7, with prominent apical cap.

Ascospores: 

 Ascosporea hyaline, filiform, flexuous, breaking into partspores.  Partspores truncate, 4-6 x 1-1.5 um.
